FEC provides a diverse array of activities both during and after school to cater to the varied interests of our students. We place a strong emphasis on sports, excursions and community service. Our programs are designed to offer students stimulating and enriching experiences that are not only enjoyable but also help them develop confidence and a sense of responsibility.
Excursions and field trips
We offer our students numerous opportunities to explore the world through a comprehensive program of visits and field trips. From a visit to the Biscuit Factory to an international trip to Turkey, we believe that students gain immense benefits from outdoor learning experiences in new environments. Younger students have enjoyed visits to the Science Museum, a farmhouse in Karachi and a local pizza place, while older students have participated in excursions to historical heritage sites. The Senior Classes have also enjoyed a day at the beach, along with the trips to Malaysia, Baku and the Northern Areas of Pakistan. These trips not only enhance the knowledge gained in traditional classroom settings but also strengthen bonds among fellow students.
Sports
At FEC, we wholeheartedly support our students’ enthusiasm for sports. We believe that engaging in sports is a fun and effective way to develop skills, build self-confidence and foster good sportsmanship. It also provides a structured and healthy environment for competition. Our students participate in various tournaments, including futsal, basketball, throw ball and cricket, which promote team spirit and healthy competition. The Senior Section has expanded their activities to include rowing and table tennis.
Athletics is another vital part of our sports program. On Saturdays, the Senior Section buzzes with activities related to athletics. Events like the ‘Fun Run’ see enthusiastic participation from both students and parents, highlighting the community’s commitment to fitness and fun.
Community Service
FEC is committed to nurturing empathy and social responsibility at every level of the school. Our students generously contribute their time and resources, whether by creating personalized Eid boxes for the less-privileged children, participating in charity drives, or supporting those in need.
These values are further highlighted in the Senior Section, where students actively engage in Community Service. They support initiatives such as The Citizen’s Foundation in running schools for the less privileged, raise funds for the Edhi Foundation, engage in Adult Literacy Programme and intern at organizations like SIUT, Indus Hospital, Ujala, and ACELP (School for Special Children), among others. Through the Youth Yaqeen Program at Indus Hospital, students gain valuable insights into social work, healthcare and the corporate environment, all while fostering empathy and societal awareness.
