At the FEC Primary Section, we believe that learning should be fun. Our curriculum is designed to include various mediums and strategies to enhance learning through doing. Our committed and dedicated staff ensures a stimulating environment so that the students receive a well-rounded education.
The school day is interspersed with many hands on, co-curricular activities in art and science, drama, sports, music and movement, computers and many other related areas. They enjoy the library with its games and story telling sessions and also relax and role-play in the activity room.
FEC is known for its safe and caring environment where children have a positive and enjoyable learning experience. Our committed and dedicated staff set high expectations for achievement and aim to work in partnership with families to support our students’ learning, success and happiness in our school.
We also believe in ensuring that children receive a well-rounded curriculum and offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities from sports, competitions, performance events, field trips, arts and music.
Our students learn through doing, through movement and through sensory activities that nurture their potential in many different areas and make learning a holistic experience.
They enjoy yoga, clay, arts and crafts and singing. Last but not least they learn through playtime! The Junior School builds on the solid foundations based on the skills learned in the primary classes but continues in the tradition of learning through hands on activities and group work which builds a rapport and understanding of others and a development of social skills. Students begin to develop critical thinking and reasoning skills and are encouraged to explain and present their ideas and thoughts to a wider audience. Beyond that our students are encouraged to become aware and responsible citizens of the world at large.
